What I do.

I offer mechanical engineering design services. With over 15 years of engineering experience, and heavily involved in machine and fabrication shops I understand manufacturing. My passion lies in product development and machine design, bringing innovative solutions to your process, plant, or product line. My services will take your idea from a concept sketch through the design process and deliver a full suite of professionally detailed manufacturing documents.

Capable of ideation and conceptual sketching I will draw out the idea you have dreamed up. If you already have a hand sketch I will bring it to life in the 3D digital world, all the while with manufacturability as a focal point. Once the design is complete I will generate all the necessary documentation that can be taken to any manufacturer. I will support the downstream process of production for your product. Additionally, I have established relationships with fabrication and machine shops and will be your voice on the shop floor, ensuring your product is built to a high standard.

About Me.

Hi, I’m Marcel Pennington, a Professional Mechanical Engineer registered with the association of Engineers and Geoscientist of British Columbia (EGBC). My career has taken me from designing and prototyping solutions for tradespeople to working in the Canadian North on research dedicated drilling equipment, where manufacturing has always been the focal point.

Throughout my career I have developed exceptional skills in communication and collaboration. Whether I am working with machinists, engineers, fabricators, or project managers, I deliver consistent high levels of professionalism across the board. I believe this action generates strong mutual respect between working parties, delivering top quality results.

I am a bicycle rider and adventurer, showing my young family the awesome of the outdoors here in Penticton is one of my greatest joys.
